Black Stallion Wines & Spirits Charity Fundraiser Supporting ARBI

ARBI is honoured to have been selected as the beneficiary of Black Stallion Wines & Spirits’ 3rd Annual Charity Fundraiser.

Black Stallion is a family-owned and operated company, started almost 25 years ago by Karina and Sergei Maslov. Black Stallion’s connection to brain injury recovery is personal. Their son, Nikita, suffered a traumatic brain injury in August 2022, which was followed by a stint in the ICU. Their family experienced firsthand how difficult the recovery process can be after a traumatic brain injury, especially when trying to find the right resources and support after leaving the hospital.

As Valeria Baptie shared:

“It was incredibly difficult to find resources for someone in his situation for the post-hospital recovery, and we wish we were aware of an organization such as ARBI to have assisted in his rehabilitation journey.”

That experience played an important role in Black Stallion choosing ARBI as this year’s charity partner.

“We are thrilled to be able to focus our fundraising efforts on ARBI this year, in large part to raise awareness for the organization and to assist anyone who may find themselves in a similar situation as our family did.”

As part of the fundraiser, Black Stallion is hosting a silent auction, with all proceeds going directly to ARBI and supporting brain injury and stroke survivors and their families.

The auction includes hotel stays, golf rounds, dining and entertainment experiences, wine packages, winery experiences, and more.

The auction is open now and closes September 24 at 9:00 PM.
