Building Bridges for a Brighter Future

Community Connect is a welcoming and inclusive social program tailored for individuals aged 18+ who have experienced a moderate to severe acquired brain injury, as well as their dedicated support network. Facilitated by ARBI’s compassionate Wellness Team, this program brings people together through enriching socialization and community events, creating lasting connections and building bridges for a brighter future. We welcome participants from various agencies and the wider community, ensuring enriching and accessible experiences for all.

Through Community Connect events, we aim to mitigate the social isolation survivors and their loved ones face and establish meaningful connections within the brain injury community. Our engaging activities promote emotional, social, and relational well-being, empowering individuals to embrace life’s possibilities.

Program Details

• Cost: $15 per participant.
  (If this poses a significant barrier for you, please contact ARBI’s Wellness Team at Wellness@arbi.ca).
• Snacks, refreshments, and all required supplies are provided.
• Events will be held once a month (except for July and December) at ARBI: 311 Cedar Crescent, Calgary, AB.
