Yahoo—ARBI’s Stampede Breakfast on July 11, 2024, was a record-breaking event, gathering over 425 clients, families, friends, volunteers, and community members for a boot-stomping good time!

We extend a special thanks to our generous sponsors, Groundworks Canada and Ephraim Stat Care, for supporting this year’s breakfast. Additional thanks to the Ward Community Event Fund, City of Calgary, for their grant this year, which helped make this event possible.

ARBI was honoured to have special guests Janet Eremenko, MLA for Calgary-Currie, and Richard Pootmans, Ward 6 Councillor, don their cowboy hats and join in the fun.

The long-time dedicated volunteers from the Kinsmen Club of Stampede City and the Cosmopolitan International Club of Calgary eagerly rolled up their sleeves to help prepare and serve a mouth-watering pancake breakfast. A mighty big thank you goes out to our volunteers, including all the ARBI volunteers, who ensured the event went off without a hitch. Special thanks to Amir, Alen, and Chloe for capturing the wonderful moments of the day. Your commitment truly embodies the spirit of community.

Our two- and four-legged friends from PALS (Pet Access League Society) were a hit, making new friends and receiving plenty of pats and nose boops from the crowd.

Excitement filled the air as six lucky winners took home fantastic door prizes donated by Home Depot, Grey Eagle Resort and Casino, and Stage West. We also announced the 50/50 raffle winner, and you can find more details about the lucky winner here.

The event was filled with fun activities, and the joy was palpable as attendees enjoyed delicious food, great company, and lively entertainment. We were thrilled to see our clients, both past and present, enjoying the festivities alongside their families and friends. Your resilience and spirit inspire us every day, and your presence was a testament to the strength and unity of our ARBI family.
