ARBI’s Strategic Plan 2024–2027
January 31, 2025 > Annual Reports

We are proud to present ARBI’s 2024–2027 Strategic Plan, a vision for sustaining hope and building resilience for individuals and families affected by acquired brain injury (ABI). This plan outlines our commitment to addressing the evolving needs of our community through four key strategic focuses:
- Creating a Centre for Hope and Resilience: Expanding our services to provide comprehensive support for both individuals and families impacted by ABI.
- Providing Lifelong Support for Recovery: Addressing the need for long-term care and resources beyond the typical rehabilitation phase.
- Collaborating Strategically to Influence Systemic Change: Building intentional partnerships and taking on leadership roles within the sector to drive meaningful, long-term improvements in the ABI landscape, ensuring a stronger and more inclusive support system for those impacted by brain injury.
- Influencing Change for People Impacted by ABI: Strengthening ARBI’s role in advocacy and research by partnering with government to develop an ABI Strategy for Alberta, collaborating with research universities, and serving as a trusted advisor in ABI rehabilitation.
This strategic plan is designed to secure ARBI’s sustainability, enhance the quality of services we offer, and respond to increasing demand and funding challenges.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to this roadmap for the future. Together, we look forward to continuing our mission of fostering hope, resilience, and opportunities for those navigating the journey of recovery.
